Important Reminder and Updates for PODS Parents
Dear PODS Parents,
We hope this message finds you well as we kick off the new school year. We have some important updates, events, and deadlines that we want to bring to your attention. Please take a moment to review the following information:
PODS Meeting on Monday, September 11th at 9am:
Location: Crooked River Elementary in the Media Center
Our upcoming meeting is a must-attend event. We will provide in-depth details about ongoing and upcoming school events, including the BIG fall event scheduled for October 19th. This meeting is also an opportunity to learn about exciting volunteer opportunities within the school. If you've been wanting to get more involved and participate in school-related activities, this is your chance!
Last Call for School Cookbook Recipes:
Don't miss your chance to be part of our school cookbook project! It's completely free to submit your favorite recipes, and you could even win a cookbook. Share your family's favorite dishes and secret recipes with the community. You can submit recipes by either using the fillable PDF attached to this email or by sending us a link to your favorite recipe online.
Design Contest for Our School Cookbook:
Your child should have received a flyer recently regarding a design contest for our upcoming school cookbook. This is an extraordinary opportunity for your student to showcase their artistic talents and have their artwork featured not only within our school but also in the wider community.
Contest Details:
First Place: The winning artwork will be featured on the cover of our school cookbook, and the artist will receive a $25 gift card!
Second Place: The second-place artwork will be printed on the back cover of the cookbook, and the artist will receive a 50-point DOJO certificate

Submission Information: To enter the contest, please ensure your child completes their artwork and returns it in their folders by the specified deadline. All entries will be considered for judging, and we can't wait to see the amazing creations our students come up with!
Business Sponsorship Fundraiser Reminder:
Our Business Sponsorship fundraiser is coming to a close on September 15th. If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a prime sponsor with prominent advertising on a banner in the car rider line, along with additional benefits, please reach out to PODS before the deadline.
Spirit Week - Festive Friday on September 15th:
As part of Spirit Week, Festive Friday will be celebrated on September 15th. For just $1, students can purchase fun Wildcat Football Tattoos, with each student receiving two tattoos. Let's show our Wildcat Spirit to support CCHS!
