We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday break and is ready for the new semester starting Tuesday, January 7.
🚨 Volunteers Needed!
PODS is in urgent need of volunteers to help us continue supporting Crooked River Elementary with events, projects, and more. If you’re interested in becoming a certified volunteer, please reach out to us or Mrs. Graw, the school counselor, to get started: e.graw@camden.ga.us
📅 Upcoming Events
January 9: AR Snow Party Help PODS serve hot chocolate and assist students as they enjoy "snowball" fights and play in the "snow" during their rotations.
AR Snow Party Schedule:
10:45–11:10: 3rd Grade
11:15–11:40: Kindergarten
11:45–12:10: 4th Grade
12:40–1:05: 5th Grade
1:10–1:35: 2nd Grade
1:45–2:10: 1st Grade
2:15–2:30: PreK (TBD)
January 16: PBIS Store
Volunteer at one of our most popular events! Students shop for rewards with their DOJO points, and it’s a great way to connect with all grades.
January 17: Festive Friday – Croc Charm Craze Back by popular demand! Croc Charms and Charm Keychains will be sold in mystery bags:
2 Charms for $1 OR 1 Charm + 1 Keychain for $1

📅 January 9: Teacher Appreciation – "That's a WRAP on 2025!" 🎁 PODS will treat our amazing staff to delicious wraps and pinwheels to kick off the new year!
📋 January 13: PODS Monthly Meeting (9:00 AM) 🗣️ Join us to discuss upcoming events and Spring plans. ☕ Refreshments provided!
🎡 January 23: Spring Carnival Planning Meeting (9:00 AM) 💡 Bring your ideas and help us make this year’s carnival the best yet!
💌 January 27: Valentine Candy Grams 🍬 Candy Gram sales begin and run through February 7. Sweeten someone’s Valentine’s Day with this fun treat!
👩🏫 January 30: Parent Night (5:00–7:00 PM) 📚 Meet with teachers, discuss progress, and prepare for upcoming testing months. Be on the lookout for sign-up times from your child’s teacher.
