January is a FLURRY of fun!

Hello PODS members!

We hope this email finds you well and that you had a rejuvenating holiday break. As we navigate the challenges of the current weather, we trust everyone is safe and dry. 

At our recent meeting, we celebrated the success of our December gifts, which included a microwave and ice maker for the staff lounge. Your contributions have made a significant impact, and we're thrilled to see them put to good use. 

Unfortunately, our Candy Cane Gift Wrap turnout wasn't as spectacular as we had hoped. We're eager to improve for next year and are open to your suggestions. Whether it's a different time, location, or any creative ideas you have in mind, please share your thoughts with us! 

On a related note, our cookbook sales haven't reached our target yet. These funds play a crucial role in organizing the upcoming Spring Fling Carnival. If you're interested in purchasing a cookbook, we'll have a table at the C4 Meeting on January 18. Your support will contribute to creating a memorable Spring Fling for our students. 

Due to predicted severe weather on Friday, January 12th, the AR Snow Party has been rescheduled to Friday, January 19. If you'd like to lend a hand and make this event even more special, sign up here: AR Snow Party Volunteer Sign-up 

Our monthly PBIS Store is set for Wednesday, January 17. We expect a high turnout, and volunteers are needed to make this event a success. If you're interested in volunteering, please sign up here: PBIS Store Volunteer Sign-up 

Don't forget about Festive Friday on January 19 – it's Hat Day! Students can break the dress code for $1 and sport their favorite wacky hat. Volunteers are needed to help with collection and stamping hands. If you're interested in volunteering, sign up here: Hat Day Volunteer Sign-up 

Our Teacher Appreciation Event on January 24 is themed "Chip, Chip, Hooray! We appreciate you every day!" We'll be serving a delicious spread of chips and dips for our hardworking teachers. Starting January 29, we kick off our Valentine Candy Gram sales. For $2 each, send a sweet message to your student, friend, or teacher! These were a hit last year, and we're excited to spread the love again. Candy Grams can be purchased until February 9 and will be delivered on February 14. 

Looking ahead, we're gearing up for the Spring Fling Carnival and are searching for enthusiastic participants to join the planning committee. Your input will help create a memorable evening for our Crooked River Families. Stay tuned for details on how to get involved.
